Hollybush Primary School is a warm and welcoming place to be.  I believe we have a learning environment to be proud of, amazing teachers and support staff, and as a result our pupils are engaged, enthusiastic and proud of their school. We strive to provide learning of the highest quality and to recognise and nurture the individual interests and abilities of every child.  We want our children to believe in themselves, to respect others, and are committed to attaining the highest personal, social and academic standards.    

We encourage and nurture the partnership between the school and our families as we know a strong home/school partnership is key to children’s happiness and success. There are regular informal and formal opportunities for parents to be involved in the life of the school, through events such as parents’ meetings, assemblies, performances, productions and visits during themed weeks. 


Hollybush Primary School is currently undergoing expansion to three forms of entry.  As part of the expansion we have created an amazing new outdoor learning area for our youngest children (the mud kitchen, reading tepee and puddle pools are particular favourites!).  We also have a fantastic new upper KS2 building which provides a smart and aspirational environment for year 5 and 6 as they move towards transition to high school.  At the same time, we maintain the warm, welcoming, family feel to Hollybush School that is key to the welfare and happiness of our children.
